The main aim of the school is to provide as well as to inculcate quality education at affordable cost to the wards of the Assam Rifles personnel including widows and ex-servicemen, in particular and to the wards of the nearby civil population, in general. It focuses on the all-round development of the child with emphasis on National Integration and value education.

MISSION STATEMENT :

The Assam Rifles School is a part welfare projects of the Directorate General of Assam Rifles Shillong, under the Assam Rifles Welfare Education Society. It has been completely a Non-Profit Venture of the organization. As Assam Rifles Camps are usually situated in the remote locations, it has evidently become a holistic educational enterprise for the surrounding area.

ARPS, Wokha

Assam Rifles Public School, Wokha was established on 19 July 1961 to impart qualitative and holistic education to the wards of Assam Rifles personnel serving at Wokha and the civil children living in the near vicinity. Initially the school was affiliated to Nagaland State Board upto class VIII. But later, in 2003 it got affiliation to CBSE, New Delhi upto Secondary classes. 

It has always been an endeavor of the ARPS Wokha that best of the faculty is made available to the students so that the children have access to high quality learning & also to incorporate all the modern methodology of teaching which are being used in the private/convent schools. Apart from the academics, the emphasis of the school is on the all-round development of the students so as to make them competent in every field, which is also the need of the hour.

Assam Rifles High School, Kohima, Nagaland was established in the year 1958 with a vision to provide quality education to children of Assam Rifles Personnel. It started as a primary school and was upgraded as a Middle School in the year 1968. The School was initially Recognized by Department of Education, Nagaland after being upgraded as High School in 2004, the school has been Affiliated to Central Board Of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E).

A well-stocked school library exists in the school premises to provide learning opportunities & also serves as a learning space for students. It is well equipped with sufficient number of books pertaining to curriculum, magazines, science newsletters and newspapers.

COMPUTER LAB

The school has computer lab with sufficient number of computers and internet  facilities. It has a sitting capacity 20 students at a time. Children learns the various computer skills like word processor, drawing, photo editing, graphic designing as well as fundamentals of computer programming.

The school also has a well-equipped science laboratory for imparting practical knowledge of basic concept of science. Well qualified staff guides the students to explore the world of science through a meticulously planned schedule of practical classes which helps in better conceptual understanding.

SPORTS

Co-curricular activities are inevitable part of modern education. The school include lots of sports facilities and activities in its academic schedule. Students have their scheduled sports and game activities guided by sports teacher.
